On the lush, rainy slopes of Hilo, the Kaiwiki Baseyard and Tropical Fruit Orchard demonstrates how a working landscape can nourish both the earth and the people. This site is where Terraformation Hawai‘i conducts agroforestry services, blending operational support with a thriving tropical orchard. Here, we harvest longan, lychee, and mangosteen, showcasing how ecological restoration and sustainable food systems grow side-by-side.
