Along Ghana's coast, the Keta Lagoon once sustained local communities with its vibrant mangrove forests, which cleaned water, supported fish populations, and protected farmland from encroaching saltwater. But deforestation shattered this delicate balance, leading to environmental and economic devastation.

Today, the Regenerative Development of Anlo Wetlands (ReDAW) project is working with local communities to revive the lagoon’s vital mangroves, bringing renewed hope and opportunity, alongside climate benefits with a global impact.

Watch to discover how this Verra-certified blue carbon initiative is breathing new life into a critical ecosystem.
